Active into Employment for Migrant Women 35plus
Improving Your Current Life Situation Do you live in Germany and have so far mainly taken care of your family? Have your children grown up, and now you finally have the time and energy to focus on your own personal and professional development? This program supports, empowers, and accompanies women over 35 years of age in all matters related to re-entering the job market and building a better future.
What You Can Expect
Small groups with a maximum of 12 women
Trainers and coaches, many of whom have a migration background themselves
Individual coaching and group sessions

Financial and economic topics
Health and nutrition
Mobility
You will receive:
Support and guidance in everyday life and when dealing with public authorities
Promotion of your language skills
Literacy support (if needed)

Program Duration The program runs for a total period of six months.
For the first four months: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 12:00
From the fifth month onward: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 14:00
Participation Requirements The program is designed for migrant women over 45 years of age who receive unemployment benefits (ALG II). Participation is approved and funded by the Jobcenter (proArbeit).
It is voluntary and free of charge for participants.
How to Reach Us At the start, we organize your transportation to and from the course location via a shuttle service — whether you live in Minden, Lübbecke, or Bad Oeynhausen. If you already have your own car, we help you integrate it into your new mobility concept developed during the program.

Our team includes staff members with a migration background, but the course is conducted mainly in German so you can continue improving your language skills.
We support and encourage you in your individual life situation to help you establish yourself in the German job market. Some of our coaches also have a migration background, which enables them to understand your needs quickly and support you in the best possible way.
Course Details The program runs for approximately six months and includes about 15 participants. Location: Minden Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 13:30 In addition, participants receive one hour of individual coaching per week.

Integration into the Regional Labor Market The demand for workers in skilled trades as well as in the metalworking and logistics industries remains high. Not least because of the pandemic, there is an increased need for helpers in manual and industrial production. Motivated newcomers have a real opportunity here to enter the regional job market successfully.

Specialization Phase After the introductory phase, participants are assigned to professional focus areas in groups. In the workshops, participants learn the German language used in the workplace. They acquire vocabulary related to tools, technical work, and the logistics/shipping process, while also getting used to teamwork and daily work routines.
Project Work Participants take part in hands-on projects, such as restoring an old moped or building outdoor benches from recycled materials.
Individual Support Throughout the entire program, participants are guided and supported by qualified staff members. Individual coaching sessions are conducted to discuss personal situations and set development goals. Participants’ strengths and skills are analyzed and promoted. In the practical fields of metal and warehouse/logistics, they receive solid basic training in the relevant areas. Later, they also receive individualized integration and job placement coaching.

(Program for activation and professional integration for citizens receiving basic income benefits and recipients with a migration background)
Commissioned by proArbeit in the district of Minden-Lübbecke
Target Group The SpInA program is aimed at employable jobseekers from the Minden-Lübbecke district, especially:
Newly arrived migrants with limited or no German language skills
Individuals preparing to participate in an integration or job-related language course
Objective of the Program The goal of SpInA is to provide participants with meaningful structure and purpose during the waiting period before starting an integration or vocational language course, as well as to support their integration into the labor market. Through early assessment of employability and available labor market resources, the program helps participants move toward socially insured employment.
