First Nursing Professionals on Their Way to Germany
In 2024, the first ten Indonesian nursing professionals were selected to begin their professional journey to Germany.
Following a rigorous selection process, the participants started an intensive German language training program and preparation for entering the German labor market.
During his visit to Universitas Indonesia, Olaf Glaser met the future nursing professionals in person and discussed the next steps of the program with university representatives and project partners.

In cooperation with Universitas Indonesia, a German-Indonesian Migration Center is being developed.
The center aims to establish an integrated model for professional qualification, language training, certification, and labor market integration. It is designed to serve as a model for future international skilled workforce programs and to create sustainable pathways for qualified professionals seeking career opportunities in Germany.
